The Dimetrodon lived during the Permian period (278-260 Ma) in what is today North America, Asia, and Europe. The Dimetrodon had short legs that came out of it's sides, a long tail, and a large head with short, strong jaws. It was the largest predator of it's time, measuring 3,5 meters from nose to tail, and weighed around 150 kg.
